Poetry Slam

Celebrate young poets at this year’s Appalachian WordFest Poetry Slam, hosted by the Sevierville Chamber of Commerce.

First Place winners will receive a $1,000 Scholarship and Second Place winners will receive a $500 Scholarship. All participants’ poetry will also be submitted to the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards for a chance at qualifying for regionals.

The Appalachian WordFest Poetry Slam begins at 9:00 am on February 28 in Room 4.
